Senior Mechanical Designer: Our client is seeking a Senior Mechanical Designer to lead the design migration from Creo software to Solid Edge. Reporting to the Head of the Engineering Department, the ideal candidate will be responsible for studying and investigating current designs, creating drawings in Solid Edge, and elaborating BOM while uploading it to the PDM system.
Qualifications/Competencies: The ideal candidate should have a "CFGS Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior Diseño en Fabricación Mecánica" or "FP Formación Profesional Delineante Industrial" qualification and a minimum of 5 years of experience in designing machinery, particularly assemblies with machined and sheet metal parts. Proficiency in 3D and 2D Drawing, GD&T for serial manufacturing, PDM/PLM systems, and BOM structuring is required. Familiarity with Solid Edge or SolidWorks, and desirable knowledge of Autocad and Creo Parametric is preferred. Fluency in Spanish (or Catalan) and English at B2 level is necessary. The role requires a proactive and curious individual, with on-site work in Barcelona, Spain.
Minimum Experience: 5 years of experience in designing machinery, mainly assemblies with machined and sheet metal parts.
Location: The Senior Mechanical Designer will work on-site in Barcelona, Spain.
