<p>As <strong>Plant Manager &ndash; Tin Can (3-piece)</strong>, you will oversee the end-to-end production process for a high-volume manufacturing environment specialising in 3-piece can manufacturing, including printing, lid production, and can assembly. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, your responsibilities will encompass managing equipment maintenance, ensuring quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will also coordinate across departments such as customer service, QC, safety, and HR to optimise plant performance and uphold safety and environmental standards.</p>

<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>

	<li>Managing daily and weekly production planning in collaboration with customer service and planning teams</li>
	<li>Establishing efficient communication channels between production, customer service, and material handling teams</li>
	<li>Collaborating closely with Safety &amp; OEHS departments to ensure compliance and support safety initiatives</li>
	<li>Preparing annual capital budgets aligned with forecasted production volumes and capacity planning</li>
	<li>Ensuring quality control across printing, lid, and can manufacturing processes with QC team support</li>
	<li>Troubleshooting equipment failures and addressing printing, can, and lid defects promptly</li>
	<li>Monitoring and updating KPIs to evaluate plant performance and implementing process improvements</li>
	<li>Supporting employee development through regular assessments and targeted training programs</li>
	<li>Leading and motivating supervisory and technical teams to foster a culture of accountability and high performance</li>

<h3>Candidate Profile</h3>

<p>Our ideal candidate will hold a <strong>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical)</strong> or Operations Management, with a <strong>Master&#39;s degree</strong> being an advantage.
