This exciting opportunity is for a Manager - Sales position, dedicated to driving growth and strengthening client relationships across Africa. Your primary responsibilities will include identifying and developing new business opportunities within the African market, managing and nurturing existing client relationships to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction, and leading strategic sales initiatives to achieve revenue and market share objectives. You will coordinate seamlessly with internal teams, including production, logistics, and finance, to guarantee timely deliveries and service excellence. Additionally, preparing and delivering comprehensive sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to senior management will be key to supporting strategic decision-making. Representing the company at industry events and monitoring competitive activity will also be integral to your role, requiring a proactive approach to market intelligence and trend analysis. Fluency in English and strong communication skills are essential to navigate diverse client interactions and team collaborations effectively. The ideal candidate will flourish in a remote or hybrid setup, confidently managing target-driven activities with independence and professionalism.

The successful candidate will have a robust background of 10-15 years in B2B sales, with a proven track record in the printing and packaging industry, particularly within the cigarette and tobacco packaging sectors. You will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields, with an MBA considered advantageous. Your experience will showcase your ability to acquire new clients, manage key accounts, and strategically grow market share. A deep understanding of the African market dynamics, combined with excellent interpersonal skills and a results-oriented mindset, will set you apart. You should demonstrate a history of achieving sales targets, developing strategic initiatives, and navigating complex industry landscapes with confidence and tact.
