The client is currently seeking a New Business Development Manager – Films & Trays to be based in the North of the United Kingdom. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in sales within the PE bags and liners segment, with a strong network within the food processing industry. Your primary responsibility will involve developing new business and expanding market share in key sectors. You will need to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the processing, food-to-go, and meat and poultry markets, with a focus on securing new clients and solidifying the company’s position as a market leader. Specific qualifications should include extensive experience in sales within film and tray packaging solutions, excellent relationship management skills, and a strategic approach to business growth. Familiarity with the competition such as Flexipol, Cirrus Plastics, and Povoas would be advantageous, alongside a robust connection network within the food processing industry.
