Temporary R&D Packaging Engineer, 4 Months - Packaging Solutions - United Kingdom - Frimley Mood Group are pleased to be working with our client, a leading packaging solutions business, on their search for a talented, experienced and ambitious Packaging Engineer. Based in their client's Frimley office, you’ll join an experienced team tackling innovative packaging design. The R&D Packaging Engineer role requires packing and engineering skills to develop and deliver end-to-end NPD packaging projects. Working within the EU Product experience team, you’ll be responsible for leading packaging development and conducting feasibility assessments on a range of packaging designs. You’ll be able to write and create technical specs, finished product manuals and BOMs. Most importantly, you’ll bring your problem-solving outlook and technical expertise to the team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4-5 years in FMCG, with particular experience in pumps, triggers, rigid plastics or mould. A good understanding of component printing/decoration techniques, post-consumer recycled plastics and e-commerce techniques is also essential. Preference applications will have experience with ISBM, EBM and/or injection molding, as well as custom mould development and statistical qualification of tools.
