We are currently recruiting a Sales Manager - Flexible Packaging - USA to bolster their strategic growth efforts across the North and South American markets. This role is fully flexible with the possibility to operate from any location within the United States. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the flexible packaging industry, with proven success in driving new business, managing key accounts, and delivering on revenue targets. Your daily responsibilities will include identifying and developing new market opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships to ensure maximum satisfaction, and coordinating closely with internal teams—ranging from product development to logistics—to ensure timely delivery and service excellence. You will also prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence, while leading strategic initiatives to meet or exceed market share goals. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of costs, commercials, and import challenges related to flexible packaging, with a strategic and realist mindset to navigate a competitive landscape confidently.
The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 7 to 15 years of progressive sales experience within the printing and packaging industry, particularly with cartons and flexible packaging solutions. You should hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, with an MBA considered advantageous. Your background should demonstrate a strong track record in B2B sales, client acquisition, and account management, especially within USA markets relevant to FMCG and F&B sectors. You bring excellent communication skills in English, an understanding of international trade practices, and the ability to work independently—whether remotely or in a hybrid setting. Additionally, familiarity with the commercial and costing aspects of flexible packaging, along with insights into import challenges, will be highly valued.
